‘THE’ Burger Sauce

When you taste this sauce - you will know why there is so much sauce on this burger!

There is burger sauce in a jar and there is burger sauce in a squeezy bottle but is it ever the way you hoped it would be? Never! …… This is a game changer.

250 mls Mayo

4 tablespoons grated onion – white onion if possible

4 tsp Yellow Mustard *

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp onion powder

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 or 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt - to taste

2 teaspoons sugar

1 Jar of Pickle Gherkin slices in vinegar.

Black pepper

Method

Mix the Mayo with the onions, mustard, paprika, onion and garlic powders, sea salt, sugar and black pepper.

Mix well.

Then add a tea spoon of the vinegar from the jar of pickles.

Mix again and taste. If you think 1/4 teaspoon of salt was not enough add another 1/4.

Keep refrigerated but serve at room temperature.

Notes.

Onion powder and Garlic powder are invaluable. Easily available in bags at the Asian Markets they also sell them in some supermarkets. SuperValu have them in Tubs. They are NOT the same as onion or garlic granules.

Yellow Mustard - this is not as good as it used to be. I’m not sure why but the internet seems to agree on this. If there is Heinz available in the shop as well as French’s - I’d suggest Heinz by a small margin.
